    Raglan

    characterized by a diagonal seam running from the neckline to the underarm. No top shoulder seam. Often, but not always, the sleeves and collar will be a different color than the rest of the shirt (i.e., baseball tee)

    Set-In

    Sleeve is a separate piece of fabric sewn onto the armhole, creating a seam on top of the shoulder. This is the typical sleeve you see on T-shirts.

    Dolman (Batwing)

    Cut in a single piece with the garment. Very wide at the top of the arm and narrows towards the wrist or elbow.

    Puff (Lantern)

    Voluminous sleeve gathered at the shoulder to create a puffy shape. Often include elastic at the cuff. Can be only mildly puffy (as pictured here) or VERY puffy (think Cinderella).
