We know you bought too many pairs of selvedge jeans.

Selvedge denim is cool, but it can also be tough at first to find the size and fit that works for you. Maybe you bought a few different pairs to see what would fit best and then missed the return window. Or maybe you thought you were a baggy-fit person but turned out to be more of a tapered type. Or maybe, you just want to make room in your closet for that crispy raw release your favorite brand is teasing for next season. Regardless, we can help.

For the uninitiated, what is selvedge denim?

The term “selvedge” comes from “self-edge,” referring to the tightly woven edges of the fabric that prevent unraveling. Selvedge denim is made on shuttle looms, a traditional and slower process that results in a denser, higher-quality fabric compared to mass-produced denim. You can spot selvedge denim by flipping up the cuff and checking for the selvedge ID, a strip of colored thread woven into the self-finished edge. Traditionally, the selvedge ID was red on white, but these days they come in all sorts of colors.
